Yeah, that's a solid point.  Now that we have players with actual size who can focus on defending inside and grabbing rebounds, Glen has more free reign to work his mid-range game, drive, and scramble for offensive boards.  Glen seems to have found an ideal role on our team so far this year.

This is actually a great point. Big Baby's flaws are covered up really well when he's manning the bench alongside Erden. It's kind of like the opposite of Rasheed, where Big Baby's flaws just became exacerbated.

Definitely liking Baby's new game. This turkish guy aint bad either

Semih has already contributed enough to count him as a brilliant pick. Just making the roster from the last pick is great, but he has actually contributed positively.

Last year with Sheed was a hiatus from the perimeter for Baby. This year, his jumper has been great.

I'm just glad for both of them (Semih and Glen). This chemistry we now have off the bench has not always been the case, and I love it!

Erden's actually not a good free throw shooter.  I want to say his Turkish League career FT% is under 60%.

I understand Jermaine ONeil isn't 100% but I think except the shot blocking Erden looks better so far.  I am surprised at the ft %, he seems to have a nice touch.  I think this season with perk out and both ONeils missing time throughout the year it will be for him to get some constant minutes but not too many that overwell him.

Ditto.  Erden is providing some valuable minutes as a serviceable, backup big man.  Cheap too (relatively speaking).

an aside: I'm digging on Semih
strong rebounder, shotblocker, free throw shooter. he is already a steal, if he can start finishing around the rim when contested he will be here for a long time.

Eh, Semih has been great, but I wouldn't credit him with Glen's play, seeing how Glen has been playing great all season even when Semih wasn't getting minutes and even last season before Semih was even on the team.  Glen is just getting better, regardless of Semih.  But back to your point... who isn't loving Semih right now?

I'm not seeing it.  Last night was the first time Semih and Baby were a positive combination.

I'm loving how he runs the court.  Every time he is out there on at least one occasion he outruns everyone for fast break dunk.  Great stuff for a seven footer.  And that under the rim pass to Baby was awesome.

He may never be a great finisher and rebounder in traffic, but he does a ton of the little "extras" that a lot of big men can't do.
