I pay > $200 per year to get the NBA League Pass to watch the C's, and for some stupid reason, paying for the NBA League pass does not include NBA TV, where tonight's game is on.  BS!

Yea, I had Directv before too and NBA TV is included in their "Sports Pack".

League Pass is separate.

  • GOT IT!!!
NBATV is included with League Pass. If you aren't getting it call Directv up and they should enable it.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
I only have Dish Network and no pay package for NBA games, but I do get the NBA channel and so far the Celtics appear to be one of the big games every time they play so they are getting televised a lot and I get to see them more often than not without having to pay extra. I'm certainly going to miss my share of games, but as it is, I'm seeing them quite a bit. I think I could have seen 5 of the 7 games already and actually caught 4 of them. I'm sure once the playoffs begin, it'll be can't miss. That's good enough for me!  8)

I love NBA TV. Great way to watch the ends of all the close games in the league and all the overtimes.

Actually, NBA-TV is not on lpbb and is also not available on the Seattle networks. I resorted to a free TV website and picked up both the Celtics game in Oklahoma, and the Fakers demolition of Portland.

I think it is adhte.net or something like that.

I added Sports Pak onto my cable lineup for $7.00/month and HD is included.  You need the HD box, but it is the same monthly price as a regular cable box.

Same here I made a similar thread a while back for the same reason but got lucky somehow....I raised hell over Customer Support about this purchasing NBALP only to find out if I want NBATV in HD I have to buy the sports pack at like 5 bucks a month. I threatened to cancel LP and my whole cable subscription altogether and while I was referred to higher ups and ups to see if NBA tv were included or could be added they said they couldn't and it was a separate pack.

Funny thing is though with all the complaining it seems someone enabled it or were able to add it because I have NBATV in HD and I'm not paying for it either. Nor was the Sports Pack added to my account but shhhh dont tell nobody. ;D 8)

We have Comcast through the house for the family TV but I get DirecTV in the room where I watch games and spend much of my time.  I have the cheapest package (29.95) plus the Sports Pack so that I can get CSNNE.  I have my League Pass on DTV instead of Comcast because DTV gives you a choice of home or away broadcast where Comcast mostly has the home team feed.  DTV also has the pre and post game included.   I love the customer service with DTV.  My receiver went out the afternoon before opening night and I had a replacement on my doorstep before noon the next day.  Now that's service.
