His turnovers are pretty mind boggling as well....
Have you actually looked at his assist to TO ratio? It is pretty good.
I mean Im not gonna look at assist to TO ratio when his assists are influxed to 17 assists per game... He's averaging 4 TO's per game, I dont give a crap what his assist to TO ratio is, that's a lot of turnovers.
Do you mean 'inflated' to 17 assists?
Not a big deal. He is handling the ball a lot, so of course he will get more of the TOs. 4 is not a big deal. Steve Nash has had many seasons in the high 3's. Stockton was in the mid 3's in his top assist seasons.
Magic had a season with 4.6 TOs per game where he only averaged 13.1 assists, considerably less than what rondo is averaging. That was in only 38 mpg. Rondo is playing 41.6 MPG.
So you should give a crap, because what you are saying really does not reflect reality. Rondo is close to a reasonable number.
It was impressive that Rondo started the last game with 7 assists and 6 TOs, and then did not have another TO for the rest of the game. He adjusted and protected the ball better.
Even last season, Rondo had a great assist to turnover ratio. If you refuse to look at that and look instead at raw TOs, you will not be satisfied with a top passing PG because they get turnovers while also causing easy baskets for teammates.
You should also realize that when only a few games have been played, numbers get skewed by single games.
