Paul congratulations on reaching the 20000 point plateau. Celtic fans are so blessed that you came to our storied franchise. You have played with so much fire in your career. Paul you are a future hall of famer, without a doubt.
     Runner up player of the game is Andrew Bogut. Thank you for the technical foul you received late in the 4th quarter against The Big Ticket. That technical really waked up the Celtics. The C's were unstoppable after that T.

To think that Paul is only what? 1600-1700 or so points behind Bird? That is awesome.

So next year at this time will be crazy. Can he possibly catch Bird this year with a late season to June?

Any Mathematicians in the house?

Didn't we blow like a 5-point lead with under minute to go? Hardly unstoppable.

But they pulled it out, that's all that matters.


And congrats to Pierce. I'm glad he got it at the stripe so he could get a proper ovation.

He should pass Bird early next season, but he would have to play beyond his current contract to have any shot at Hondo.

Truly amazing in this day and age, when a player rarely stays with the same team for his entire career. The Truth is and has been my main man since he became a Celtic, and it brings me no end of pride and joy to see him pass any kind of milestone or receive any kind of award.

He has gone about his job in a contrastingly quiet sort of way, (compared to many "superstars"), and has overcome his share of adversity along the way, and taken a healthy dose of criticism, most of which was undeserved. All the best to Paul for this most recent accomplishment ... the accolades are well-earned.

The Truth will set us free! ;)
