I saw someone start a Scola thread, so i figured props was due to Reggie Evans. 16 boards a game and the man is only 6-8. Given im sure he will not keep this up the entire year but maybe DA should of thrown him the mle to fill the rebounding hole   ;D

If only he wasn't a large negative a team's overall defense and offense, still an impress couple of games.

In other new Andrea Bargnani is averaging 3 rebounds per game. Yikes!

Yeah, what he said.

a) Reggie Evans does nothing on offense and clearly doesn't help much with his team's defense aside from rebounding

b) It's not so hard for a 6'8'' guy to get all those rebounds when he plays next to a 7'' guy who barely makes any effort to rebound.

Fun facts:

Reggie Evans has more PFs than points, 12 fouls to 8 points (in 32 minutes a game!), his usage is 6.4%, and his TS% is .300. Yet he still has a positive offensive win score and an offensive rating of 117!

Well, except he's also grabbing those rebounds away from five opposing players. And he's always been great on the glass, in Philadelphia, Seattle, um, where else?

His success this season partly stems from a better understanding of his role in the offensive - reset the shot clock.

Defensively he's solid in the post where he can create a lot of contact and use his reach to make opposing bigs shoot from uncomfortable spots. But, yes, he's easily exploited by perimeter scorers, and motion offenses where he's forced to read the play.

When I think of Reggie Evans, three things come to mind:

1. Ben Wallace, circa 2004.

2. He has a really ugly beard.

3. Chris Kaman.
