I thought KG didn’t attack him in the post as much as he could have.

Garnetts post game is gonna get a boost of confidence tonight.  ;)

Is Andy Varajao hurt?  Because if he is healthy, I am not sure that will happen.
AV is going to be their C in most of their lineups.

Hickson will be on Garnett unless they want Hickson on Shaq.

My thoughts after the game:

Thank God they got Chris Bosh instead of David Lee, or even Boozer.  If they had someone more physical closer to the basket, look out.

As it is now, they'll have to "wait until next year" and try to get someone to complement them down low.  We can be pretty sure that Perk will get an MLE offer from them, can't we?

Perk's going to get offered a lot more than the MLE.  He's one of the very best defensive big men in the game, based on last summer's economics that's worth at LEAST $8M per, maybe more.  If the best offer he gets is at the MLE, Danny won't have any issues resigning him at all.  Perk wants to be here, he might leave if he gets offered a stupid-rich contract elsewhere but if it's a matter of the MLE in Miami or the equivalent in Boston, he's staying in Boston.

To be honest, I actually thought Bosh did a solid job defensively on Garnett last night.  Garnett was challenged on almost every shot he took.  I was pretty impressed.

Sorry but KG had 3 (minimum) open looks from the elbow where he's very comfortable shooting the ball.

Leaving KG open on 3 of 80+ possessions is bad defense?

Yes he did, after Bosh made the right play and slid to help to prevent a lay up.

The defensive breakdowns for KG's shots typically weren't because of Bosh. They were because of pick and roll, or just driving penetration.

They may have three superstars but at the best they are average to above average defenders.   I think the LeBron all defensive team was a gimme by the league you want to tell me he defended peeps better than Tony Allen?  Their other duds, I mean players aside from Hasleem are not good defenders.

Exactly.  Bosh was playing very solid team defense, also.  I'm not sure how people can pick on Bosh's defensive game last night after watching it.

He played well but he is not a true center or maybe even PF.  Athletic enough to certainly but lacks the low post physique.  He is so skinny I thought it was Snoop Dog.
