Orlanods problem IMO is that they dont have a well balanced offense...They live and die by the 3 point shot, an having D. Howard hit the boards...

when the 3's are falling they're hard to beat...but when they're off. you get games like this, and the ECF series against the celtics

My man Omri Casspi scored 20 points 6/7 from behind the arc to beat those annoying Cavs and avenge us 8)

Good matchup on now with Blake Griffin and Dirk Nowitzki.

Blake scored on Dirk fairly easily on the post early in the game. The Mavs switched the defensive matchups straight away and put Tyson Chandler on Blake. Tyson has shut Griffin down since but Blake does have a couple of nice rebounds.

It looks like Dirk can get his shot whenever he wants against Griffin on the other end of the floor. Griffin didn't contest either of Dirk's shots well enough.

Also, Blake turned down the midrange shot on two occasions when matched up against Tyson + Haywood ... only to force a tougher shot in the post against those two bigger longer defensively talented shot blockers. Lacking confidence in his shot?

Great hustle by Bledsoe. Man, Tommy would love him on the Celtics! I hope the Clips can keep building for the future, I'd like to see them do good. Just because they are the Lakers' crosstown rival.

Dallas put Shawn Marion on Blake Griffin after they went small with Marion at the four.

Blake looked dangerous in the low post against Marion but didn't score ... but it looks like a matchup that LAC can get a lot of joy with throughout the year. Against undersized fours, or quick fours, perimeter orientated fours.

Marion did a respectable job on Griffin but Griffin is just bigger and stronger. Marion's superior quickness didn't do much to limit him because of Blake's confidence and bulk in the low post.

Nice 65-footer(!) from Kidd to end the half.

OKC causing Utah all kinds of trouble with Kevin Durant at center alongside Jeff Green and three perimeter players. The Thunder have gone with full court pressure and traps in the backcourt. Utah struggling to get the ball over the halfway line and get into their offense.

Oklahoma created three quick turnovers (5 in the quarter) and created a 12-0 run in about two minutes.

Utah had a 27 point lead but look rattled now.

Ouch, Deron Williams just left with his fourth foul.

4:30 left in the third with Utah up 15 points.

CJ Miles is having a good game. Scored on a post up, a backdoor cut and drained a couple of shots from the perimeter. He is causing the Thunder some problems.

Serge Ibaka conceding low post position to Al Jefferson too easily. Needs to push Big Al further from the rim. Letting him cut across the paint too easily too.

Ibaka is doing a much better job when he fronts or 3/4ers the post rather than playing behind Big Al.

This Bulls team will be pretty good once Boozer gets back.

The Blazers look really vulnerable defensively without Oden/Przybilla.

Luol Deng with almost 30 points in the first half ... wow. Looks like he's owning the paint against Portland!

Aldridge & Deng are having themselves a bit of a shootout right now.

Good to see out of Lamarcus.  I have him on my fantasy team.
