Been waiting for this one. Almost gave in to getting NBA League Pass Broadband, but I am glad I held off. Would have hated to drag my Laptop around.

$45 price is not bad. Where I live (North of DC), Comcast offers the normal games in low-def. So I don't think I am missing anything on the screen size. My living room TV is reserved for Hi-Def viewing ONLY. So only nationally televised games will be worthy of my living room TV ;)

I'll be watching it on my iPad. But it is also available for iPod Touch, iPhone, and Android.

Hmmm, any idea if they had a trial or anything?  I would love to see how it looks on my phone before shelling out that kind of money.

Doubt it. It would be a pleasant surprise if that was the case. I might be (and would love to be) wrong on this one.

You are correct.  :(  Also, last season I saw some preseason games on my iphone w/ this app for free... on wifi the picture was really clear but 3g was watchable with less clarity. The package price also goes lower as the season goes on like LP/TV. I buy LP/TV every season but I almost also bought the mobile later on in the season all b/c I was going to miss a half a game on TV lol!!!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I jailbroke my iphone 4 (which is legal) pretty recently mainly because I wanted to trick the device into believing it was on WiFi when it wasn't.  I noticed that when I stream youtube videos when connected to wifi, it would play is super clear HD, but when I was connected to 3g, it would play kinda crappy quality.  There's an app you can download after jailbreaking that allows you to trick your apps into thinking it is always connected to wifi... so now when I stream youtube videos, they ALWAYS play in super clear HD regardless if I am on wifi or not.  A lot of people are using jailbreaking to get apps that let them do this with FaceTime (iphone webcam thing), for example... which to me seems like a pretty pointless feature when restricted to WIFI only.  Haven't tried this yet, but I like lifting the restriction from YouTube.  Sometimes take a little time to buffer, though... so I imagine you'd probably have a similar issue if you tried to trick the NBA app into thinking it was connected to wifi... the 3g network speeds might not be capable of supporting it or it might pause to buffer once in a while.

Yeah I'm aware of it... I jailbroke  my phone but unjailed it b/c I prefer it as is. I have used that app (couple like it), and yeah it works okay... they probably have fixed it since I last tried it but I kept getting one bar which caused things to load slower than even 3g. Jailbreaking is amazing though.(yes, I know it's legal even though Apple tried to make it illegal, fail on their part LOL)
