Wouldn't that have been smarter to do during the offseason?

Does it really matter? Not trying to be a prick or anything.. but come on.

It's ok though. Has anyone seen what his other arm tattoo is? It's usually partially covered by his armband. Just curious.

I'm not saying it's going to affect his season.  It will probably be all healed within a few weeks.  But a tattoo is a wound, and that is a sizeable tattoo on his shooting arm.  When you have guys scratching and clawing at you during a game, or even practice, it just seems like something you wouldn't do a few days before the start of the season.

I guess Paul could always borrow Ray's sleeve. It's not like Ray needs it  ;)

I'm not a big ink person myself (don't have any but don't have anything against them) but I love how the dice say "34" and I like the relative simplicity of it. Then again, I'm a sucker for the Truth. Also, I think dark_lord is going to love it.

I actually got a tattoo this past spring and it is kind of a bigger deal then I thought going in. You have to clean it every day, you are not supposed to stretch the skin by exercising. It actually changed my workout plans for a few weeks and I am not exactly an NBA player. I don't think you can put a band on it cause it has to breathe, and sweat is an issue.

Yuk!  I hate tatoos or body art.  Very unattractive if you ask me.  I know, I know, nobody is asking me. :-X

To be picky on the dice, the one with the "3" showing is incorrect, because you can also see a "4" on it.  The "3" and the "4" are actually on opposite sides of the die, as the two numbers on opposite sides always add up to seven.

I don't know, if I was doing a tattoo for a huge celebrity, I'd try to pay attention to detail.  I also think the four-leaf clover is less well done than I'd have expected.

Whatever, if Paul is happy with it, good enough.

Not for me either but as far as they go...that is a cool one.

I think the tattoo is maybe a little too awkwardly big.  Other than that, I like that it seems to have a lot to do with his career as a Celtic, which makes me happy.  Good for you Paul!

Or maybe that's supposed to be a five? That lower right dot is toward the middle of the side.

Ha.. I might be a little slow here but I see what he did with the dice. a 3 and 4... 34, his number obviously.

But I think Roy's right with the whole wrongness of the 4 on the first die though.

It's nice to see that Paul permanently engraved something on his body that shows pride in his being a Celtic. Not the best artwork Ive ever seen but pretty cool nonetheless.

It surprised me to see such a big tattoo on Pierce since his previous one is quite discret but it looks good. On the picture it looks really too big though but we'll see how it looks during games. I like the idea anyway.

I wonder if Shaq had anything to do with this. Apparently he gave him the nickname and now he is on the squad.

I wonder what nickname he has for Rondo by January.
