I do like seeing Rondo assert himself on the offensive end tonight with KG out.

Amare` is so obnoxious... I can’t wait until Perk gets back.

If Gody can rebound in the NBA, he'll be able to crack a 9 man rotation somewhere.
I'm not sure he's quick enough to defend the 3, or strong enough to defend the 4. (or even quick enough for the 4 even)

I think he'll always be a deep bench guy.
If you combine his shooting ability + quality board work ... someone will probably fall in love with him and use him as a rotation player.

He'll be a liability in that role though. Just like Matt Bonner has been for the Spurs.

Yeah, I could see that happen.

Pierce has been pretty passive tonight.

Rondo finally woke up in 3rd quarter, but not enough. he is playing like Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..

Me too.  He hasn't been finishing too well, but he's such a dynamic weapon off the pick and roll (bogus speculation from Sebastian Pruiti at NBA playbook notwithstanding).

He's playing fine other than boning his lay-ups.  Completely destroyed the Knicks defense and took Felton out of the game.

Pierce must really be looking to make a point. If Pierce caught that i would have lost my mind.

Do you not understand the concept of saving your stars in the preseason?

I agree with the trade that sent him to New York, but part of me wishes we could bring back Bill Walker and play him off the bench this season.

Maybe we can get him back for Von Wafer.

They have him listed as a SG, and all they do is sit him out at the three point line... The kid can just through the roof, is strong, and can score inside. D’Antoni sucks

Billy was just too bad defensively to see regular minutes.  Although, that didn't seem to stop Michael Finley in his absence.

NY needs to take Turiaf off and shift Randolph to center.

They have no matchup advantage against this smaller Celtics lineup. They do if they take Turiaf off and play either Randolph or Amare at center. They have a huge advantage.
