This game is sure a reality check. Jermaine's lack of explosiveness and hops is being exposed (also a surprising lack of ... drive? he seems almost uninterested sometimes ... it's just sort of his natural expression but still...).

...I really don’t know what game your watching. Disinterested? He got T’d up for politely asking about a foul, then KG got ejected, then the Russian got T’d... ALL in a 2 minute period. Do you want him running around screaming?

He didn't really last year either. Nothing to worry about.

Agreed.  Jermaine looks fine if a bit earthbound on offense.

When Rondo attacks the basket he gets beat up, It’s really not worth it for him to be hitting the ground in pre-season.

As poorly as the Cs are playing, and as much as the refs are favoring the Knicks, the Knicks aren't up by much.

Watching this game reminds me of the pre-KG days, when the Cs would be battling, battling, battling for 3 quarters against a team like the Pistons or the Spurs, be a little bit ahead, and I would get my hopes up, and then the other team would just put the hammer down.

That's sort of what I see when I see the Knicks.  They have a giddy look on their faces like "gee, we just might win this and fool ourselves into thinking we're the new Eastern Conf. champs!"

Maybe once the real refs show up.
And the real opponents.

If Gallinari was drafted by the Celtics we would have sat him on the bench, cut him, and he’d be overseas. Maybe the worst defender ever. He can’t guard the 2 or 3, his muscles look like pizza dough so theres no way he can guard the 4... This guy is in the wrong conference! He should be the starting PF for Phoenix LOL.

Amare is full of bull, he said the new rule is great(FOR HIM!!!). Now he getting star treatment because he's in New York. This game is ridiculous I almost stopped watching after the 1st quarter, that's how bad it is.

FT disparity: 8 vs. 25.
For those not watching the game, guess which team has the 8?

I've been real happy with the guys who'll probably make up the end of the bench, like Erden and Lasme, and the development of Nate Robinson. But the guy who's really playing efficient basketball is Daniels.

I think Rondo has looked very good this pre-season. He hasn't asserted his own offense but his defense and passing have been great.

25 ft by HALFTIME. that is complete insanity. On course for 66 fouls for the game? Talk about destroying the flow of the game...I'd almost rather watch a highlight reel of all of Antoine Walker's missed three point attempts.
