And yes - I think he is smooth. He moves well, even at 31, for a big. We will need that mobility against Odom, Rashard, Bosh and company.
It says a ton to me that we can say "Even at 31" w/ reference to JO, as if that number is a little long in the tooth. In "NBA Years" he is like 36, as he entered the league at 17 as opposed to 22.
This is a total misconception. Look at the games and minutes he played in his first 3-4 seasons. He would have played more had he gone to college. I think hes just as old as any 31 year old that played 4 years in college.
Dont you think his knee problems have aged him a bit?
KG at 31 with MANY more games played but no significant injuries was dominant. JO has not been dominant for years.
sure his knee has slowed him down but you can't blame it on him coming into the league out of high school.
Either way his body is older than his age would indicate regardless of factors.
OK. But the point made earlier was that he was old because he came into the league when he was 18....
