Love Delonte and we already know what he can do and could definitely use him, but is anybody worried about his back spasms maybe lingering throughout the year? Has he been having trouble with his back all along and we werent aware of it?

sheesh lets hope not w/ all of our past injuries maybe im overracting but him and JO already have me worried

He had back issues when he played for us at times. The guy is an injury machine because he dives so much. He plays kamikaze style.

Strange how Baby never gets injured on the court, huh?  He's always diving on the ground even when he has no shot at the ball.  He even did some breakdancing down there against the Nets.

I'm not worried specifically about Delonte's back, but I am worried about the cumulative effect of the suspension plus the back plus any broken hand bones plus...

Not worried.  Delonte will play hurt.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I'm worried. And I love the guy.
He's been good even with his back spasms, but I certainly don't want him to play injured. That's a recipe for long term (permanent) injury which would be a not good thing.

Let's also keep in mind that Delonte is hardly the player on which the season hinges.  If he misses a few games during the regular season, it's hardly a big deal.  If he can play 15 mpg in the playoffs, that's all we'll really need.

DW looking real good tonight, though there seemed to be just a little hesitation - probably due to trying to take care of his body during preseason. Good Idea. I like him alot.

Agreed also seems he was out there for a while, look forward to postgame info about how his back held up.

Im worried about his injury problems. Im still in favor of cutting him and keeping Wafer. Less injury prone.

Less injury prone or less effective.  Less injury prone or less effective. When Delonte is on the floor good things are happening. Given the choice...IMO there is no choice.  Welcome back Delonte!
