  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I'm pretty much inconsolable. Over 90 games played, drills, the whole 9. MVP my rookie season. ROY of course.

At the end of the season I was offered my old team, the Bucks, or the Heat, and a "?" team.

My team had just signed Carmelo Anthony. The Heat had LeBron James. I chose "?".

Its a game glitch. I can't go to "play next game". No alternative saves (DID YOU TEACH ME NOTHING, Final Fantasy VII???????).

Tommy Caffey is in team limbo. Can't advance, can't go back, sitting there a sharpshooting 21 year old 91 speed 6'10 SF rated 86. Sonofabiscuit.

I think we need a moment of silence for Mr. Caffey.  Gone too soon.  I hope you can get him back man, that sucks.

His family appreciates your sympathy. Literally this has almost ruined the game for me.

Please, someone help me.  Nba 2k11 is the first basketball game I have had in like 7 years.  Why is Delonte West not on the Celtics.  How do I get him on the game?  I saw someone post erlier about updating rosters, how do you do that.  I am sick that D. West is not on this game!

I have not purchased the game (yet), but I know that with 2k9 (with KG on the cover) there was a way to update the rosters online somehow via XBOX Live.

I'd check out XBOX Live if I were you, and you'll probably need gold membership.

In my player mode do you become a free agent and everything? Just started doing one so was just wondering.

i just finished my first season. Got drafted by the Grizzlies (25th) and was traded to the Warriors where we finished 7th in the conference. I won ROY over John Wall with averages of 17-4-7 and 2 stls and 1 blk a game.

i really upped my game in the playoffs averaging 30+ppg with around 12 assists and 4 steals and 1 block a game. unfortunately, the Thunder still bounced us out because no one could guard Durant and David Lee (i still can't believe that the Warriors GM traded away David Lee to get James Harden. what a stupid trade!)

and yea, so after one season, you can suggest to the GM who u think they should sign in Free Agency. I suggested Greg Oden for more shot-blocking and rebounding, and Thaddeus Young or Andre Kirilenko or Shane Battier. Y'know, a wing defender. Of course, the stupid GM doesn't get a wing defender. He gets Zach Randolph, a big who doesn't defend, and Shaq.

after that, i had a choice to walk away (apparently, you're a FA). There were a few other teams who were interested in me other than the Warriors, namely the Bulls, the Thunder and the Heat. Now, i don't want to back up Rose, and i don't want to join with the Thunder just because they have Westbrook and i'll always be second banana to Durant, and i definitely do NOT want to join the Heat despite it being the perfect situation for me (their best PG is Chalmers and i'm a PG with an 84 rating).

so at the end of it all, i re-signed with the warriors. I'm gonna give it a month or 2 before i ask for a trade, if things haven't improved.

What is going on here?  Why haven't all the X-box people gotten together and dominated yet?

I want to meet up and play.  I don't care if we win or lose playing with people is very fun.

The Celticsbloggers are like 0-6 or 0-7 but almost every game has been fun.

Except for a couple where people tried to run up the score on us.  Bring your guys I dont care if they are in the 50's.

Unfortunately my X-Box is about 50 yards away from the modem so appearances by XBox live gamer "Don Wahlberg" is rare.

Picked this game up awhile ago... Im on the Nets as the Starting PG dominating the league right now. We are 34-11 I believe... My averages are 21 points 4.5 rebounds 9.5 assists. I'm a 68 overall. My first PG glitched and froze but this one is going strong!

One thing I hate is when I ask to pick up new players they dont get any of them. Harris is playing SG and rushes the ball/shoots fade aways all day so hes been terrible. Why wont they trade him?!

This game has been out for a while, but I just got around to playing it with my oldest son.

Absolutely the Best basketball - maybe the best sports game - out there.

My son played with 85-86 Bulls, and I playd with 85-86 Celtics.

Of course Jordan went off - for like 87 pts >:( ;D. They won the game 110 - 111, but man it was nice playing with Bird, Chief and McHale again. Danny had 30, Bird went for 30, Chief and McHale went for 25 pts, 22 rebs, and like 7 blocks between them.

Add in Jordan's twisted ankle. Chief got him good on a follow-up dunk.

McHale was so fluid around the basket. Couldn't get him to dunk it, but he definitely had nice moves around there.

I had a good time letting DJ orchestrate the whole thing. That team (85-86 Celtics) will go down in history as maybe the Greatest Team ever, IMHO.

Hat tip to the makers of this game.

I just got the game for ps3, and haven't had much time to get into it, but wow its pretty cool.  Totally different from previous versions, and much more realistic--as such, I totally suck at it right now-no more full court passes either!  Look forward to figuring it all out, its pretty in depth and a pleasure to just look at.

Is it just me, or did the 85-86 Celtics NOT have Bill Walton??

After I played that game vs the Bulls with my son, I have no memory of Bill (Or Scott Wedman, or Jerry Sichsting, etc) in that game.

If this is true - Blasphemy ;D.

No Bill Walton??
