Cue "Are these guys taking this seriously enough???" thread in 3, 2, 1....

Funny because I was thinking about whether this crew is actually running schemes or just living it up. I trust the coaching staff is on top of them and they are just goofing every chance they get.

We know Nate is a character, and Shaq may literally be the biggest character ever. But it's good to see guys like KG and Perk loosening up and having fun. I wonder if they can get to Rondo lol.

I enjoy this stuff too, but I kinda couldn't stand the Cavs whole approach of dancing on the sidelines and posing for pictures. It was all fun and games romping through the regular season, then when they tried to get serious in the playoffs they couldn't turn it up against the elite.

I hope the C's have fun and enjoy themselves, but once the season starts, I hope they get a *little* more serious about this, but still stay entertaining.

I completely believe they know what is at stake, so I am not worried one bit.

Seeing this gives me more trust for the season. If they are having fun together, they can work together. It's all good for the team. I have no doubt they will be more serious when the season is starting and I have no doubt it will be a great season! Only thing that can go wrong is injuries, and if Shaq keeps chokeslamming his teammates.... ;D

Don't know if this is the same vid (couldn't view the twitter vid either), but I found this on youtube:

Now maybe we can get Shaq and Perk in the next one of these videos.

I thought Nate was supposed to be a cancer?  ???

From everything I've seen he seems to be a great teammate.

I love the Camaraderie we're seeing from this team in training camp.

I saw a comment from a NY fan somewhere, and he made a good point.  Nate's antics come across way better on a team with self-motivated veterans who can immediately shift their attention when needed, rather than on a team of young / immature guys.

On a team like ours, Nate can be a tension reliever.  On a team like the Knicks, he can distract and detract from what the coaching staff is trying to teach.

That makes far too much sense for it to be right.

Exactly right. To add to that, with vets, there is much more accountability.

If Nate is getting a little too distracting I am sure he will have no  problem listening to any one of our 4 HOF players to tone it down a bit. He never had anything close to that in NY.

Also, we have a team full of guys with great senses of humor. It sounds simple but it goes a long way in life I have found.
