Honestly, I kind of like the guy.  I have some issues with him as a basketball player, but as a person, he does just seem like a big kid, and I get the feeling that this stuff is a lot more genuine than some of the things we see from other stars.

If I were a Magic fan, I would be happier if he grew up a little bit, took things a little more seriously, and gained a better understanding of what wins games vs. what is fun...but as a person and public figure, I can't help but like the guy a little.

Pretty much what Chris says.

Plus - I can't hate the guy, especially once you read the link and how the proceeds will be spent.

I could never relate to the Howard hate. Seems like a good guy.

I don't like him.  Maybe he is a good guy, but he seems to be a little bit phony.  He tries very hard to be funny and never is.  He stole the whole superman thing from Shaq.  I'm sick of seeing him in spandex shirts.  He's a player I enjoy beating.  He kind of reminds me of Isiah in the first half of his career, when everyone thought he was such a good guy.

Think it'll sell better than Troy Hudson's offering?

If it's for the kids... I support it! I don't like Howard, but it's for a good cause... JUST DO IT! At least (I hope), he's not trying to be a real rapper. (he can't be worse than Soulja Lohan even if he was!)
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I can get behind an album but not with that cover and the title. Someone needs to go back to the drawing board.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Did anyone see Howard on nba tv recently talking about the new jerseys? He was trying to be funny but it was just brutal to watch. Rick Kamla was laughing but the other players there had these uncomfortable look on their faces as Howard was talking. THAT was actually funny.

I've seen some of the Lakers' camp footage (informative, especially the parts about Steve Blake, and Ron Artest. Watching Artest practice and be..normal? It was like watching a dancing bear with a clown hat on go in the woods and take a poo, then catch and eat a trout. It was like "Oh, that's right..he's a basketball player. He can do that too!"), and some of the KNicks camp footage (Anthony Randolph is going to break their little hearts in NY.). I really wish I'd have gotten to see more NBATV footage. If I wasn't 50k in debt from school with rent and car payments, maybe I'd buy a DVR. Almost makes you wish those unnamed pirate sites put NBATV online.
