TP, OP, I feel the same way. Scal will really be missed. He had those head injuries which really effected his game for a long time and I remember when he first came back after that and how he looked so different. It was terrible, especially considering what a good mind he has and one of the things I always respected about him was his ability to speak his mind in such an articulate manner and not be intimidated. Now, he seems completely recovered and I hope he gets a lot of minutes on his new team. I think he'd make a great coach too.
I'm not sure I remember Scal ever sounding particularly articulate. KG, Ray, JO -- those guys are articulate. I thought Scal sounded like he was trying to sound articulate but unable.

He might have a good basketball mind, but his interviews didn't reinforce that kind of image.

I wish him the best though because he always worked hard without complaining.

Very possible we saw different interviews. Also I don't think a limited interview by the media is really gonna tell us much about anyone. They are only going to show what they want in their particular agenda for the headliner grabber of the day.

I certainly like Scal and hope he finds a good fit and more playing time. He's one of the more interesting players to me because of his penchant for speaking his mind - a lot like Rasheed. I am going to miss them both.

If I miss him, then he’s missed. So you’re wrong.

I'll miss Scal, his play use to surprise me til I actually found myself asking for him to play more minutes. His contract was horrible and he was never gonna live up to it. It was hard to look at his game and physique and not think of his contract. He look like Dino without the game. Although I give him credit for being a smart player, who hustled and showed pride on the court. Was sorry he felt the TD Bank crowd was mocking him with chants. If you were like me though, a good night at TD Bank was when Scal would score before game's end. I'm gonna miss that roar!

The only thing Ill miss about Scal is the guy who holds the giant bobbing Scal head in the crowd. Other than that, there is nothing to be missed.

90% of me is kidding.

AND I think that the big head Scal can still come to the games, only this time it’ll probably be funnier. Ohhhh especially if it’s against the Bulls... and because of Boozer’s injury Scal might play serious minutes.

I really can't believe Scal is gone. I thought no one else would want him and he'd come back to us. He's really been a great end of bench guy for us. Wish him the best of luck with Thibs and the Bulls.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
