Who would you rather have, Vick or Big Ben?

This Sunday is a huge test for them.

I think that should give most people a better idea of where they stand.

The thing I liked is that the team was actually able to make adjustments.  Too often lately, the team has just tried the same things that haven't worked, again and again and again.  Sunday, when the offensive line was getting clobbered, the team was able to successfully adjust to a higher tempo, quick-pass offense.  It was a thing of beauty.

The Packers game is important, but I don't think it will be season-defining.  It's a good measuring post, but I fully expect this Bears team to get better as the season progresses, as players understand Martz offense more and the newer guys get fully integrated.

The years when Big Ben hasn't had good offensive line play he looked as bad as Cutler last year.

Cutler throws into coverage too much then, Big Ben takes too many sacks.

One qualm I had about them last year was the way they used Forte.  Sure he got touches but I felt like a lot of the time, opposing defenses knew exactly what was coming at them. To me, it was rather predictable and Forte paid the price.

I've been impressed with the way Martz has used Forte this year.

2 People that hurt animals


WOW,so both of these guys fall into 1 of the categories. I hate rape more, but I've always liked the STeelers. But if I'm a new team looking for a QB, I'd go with Vick. Here's why

At least Vick has potential to succeed. He might not be as strong or as good of a passer, but I'd still rather have him and his life experiences moving forward.

When i first posted(early),i didn't read the whole thing.I feel if we are judging from a pure football talent only,its Ben.He's been to the top and know what it takes to get back.Although Vick is the most exciting and athletic of the two,he hasn't proven anything yet.Now on the morals side of things,abusing women is far worst in my eyes than abusing nonhumans.Even though both are sick in their own right,its about the business of football only and im not sharing a beer after with either.

Vick's 30 now.  Haven't we pretty much seen his ceiling already?  His speed is not going to improve, it'll get slower.  Is he ever going to get it together on a consistent basis with the passing?

To me, its an extreme longshot that we'll ever see Vick develop into something that we haven't seen before.

That's idiotic and disgusting.  I agree with everything you said Roy, except that I can't and won't determine which crime is worst, they're both equally sickening.

If I had to take one not depending on the position that my team was in it'd be Big Ben, but like you said if my team was mediocre probably Vick because he hads a lot of dimensions that normal qb's don't and then easily Ben for a Super Bowl contending team.

You know what I'll just take Tom Brady over both those scum bags!  We as Patriot fans (the members who are on this site and the rest) are blessed to have Tom as our QB.

But you can't just start saying he is capable of an offense that is so much more awful. 


I love my dog as a pet, but he is not a person.
