Is the Celtics jersey different for the upcoming season? (Merged)

If you look at the video of Bradley's there seems to be a textured pinstripe pattern on the Celtics jersey. I personally think it looks sweet and it seems like every other jersey in that video has it too. Are our jersey's actually going to be different?

Actually, I wondered about that, too. I noticed every jersey seemed to have a bit of a pinstripe thing going on, too.

I do NOT like the jersey Bradley is wearing, nor do I like that Orlando jersey Adidas is promoting. I see they are selling them, but I notice it says limited edition, so I don't believe they would be the one's worn on the court, otherwise it would inhibit the sale of "authentic" jerseys.

I like the look and feel of the Celtics jersey of the last few seasons, I see no reason to change.

Upon some investigating, those "Revolution" jersey are the new replica jerseys that retail for $45.

But, the new authentic jerseys appear to be a new material, seemingly just plain mesh, as worn by AB in the OP.

I am genuinely disappointed in this, the dri-fit-esque material of the past like 10 seasons were definitely more aesthetically pleasing and comfortable.

So, it appears they made the costly, $170 authentic jerseys worse and the cheaper $45 replica jerseys better.

You may have already found out yourself, but the limited edition jerseys are numbered and come in a special box.. This is what all the teams will be wearing from now on.

But I agree.. I don't like them. I don't see why they felt the need to go on and make lighter jerseys. An Adidas rep claimed they dry faster and would make the players somehow preform better, but that just seems bogus. I hate them.

Sorry if anyone already posted about this but I was just watching the Avery Bradley ESPN video from the frontpage of CB (http://espn.go.com/nba/feature/video/_/id/5544081/) and the jersey he is wearing has pinstripes of some sort.  Anyone else notice this?  Is this new or have I just never seen the jerseys that up close?

It doesn't have pinstripes, it has holes -- just like any other sports jersey.

They are holes, but organized like pin stripes.

Normally jerseys have a diamond style to the holes, but i think this still looks cool. Probably won’t really notice it in actual games, but with that dark shadow effect if really brought them out.
