I'm late checking in today, and I know that the matter has been laid to rest, but hope nobody minds my belated perspective - as a far from well-behaved somebody (nobody?), who has had his ugly run-ins.
I've just never experienced staff bias, or for that matter even confronted some sort of united front. (Well, united in any way other than as a group uniformly generous with their time; invested in the Boston Celtics; and this site's well-being.) I'd go further to say that I’ve only ever been given great leeway during, and since have been invited and encouraged to participate here, there, and elsewhere by the mods I’ve most butted heads with. So to me, other sentiments don’t pass the smell test. (Though, I certainly know what it is to – caught up in competition – post brashly or feel slighted, and so can’t turn my nose up at anybody.)
As far as the Phoenix/Chicago series - I said early on that this was the year for starting fives. My first reaction is that the title may hinge on the Davis/Jennings match-up and how Chicago handles Phoenix's superior size. Though like everybody I'll also be interested to discuss Noah vs. Howard and Salmons/Turkoglu vs. James.
Who has home court advantage?
