Since 6th grade I have been a Paul Pierce fan. Thank you Uncle John RIP! Cant believe its been 9 years of being a Celtics fan! Again thanks John R.I.P. and I'm glad you turned me on to the Celtics! Defiantly one of the better things in my life.

I voted for Rajon Rondo, however I don't think I really have a favorite Celtic right now -- I mean, I don't think that I could choose only one player out of the Big 3 and Shaquille O'Neal has always been one of my favorite NBA players to watch ever since his younger years with the Magic.

Rondo, however is like the glue (duct-tape, if you will, lol) that holds the rest of the team together and he was also awarded the Red Auerbach trophy back in April, I mean it's not like he won the NBA 3-point contest or anything but you can't knock Rondo for consistently bringing effort and demonstrating sportsmanship whenever he steps onto the court.

Funny as much as I respect and admire Pierce's grit, determination and ability, his game is a bit of an acquired taste. Loved watching Bird, McCale, DJ and the Chief. Loved watching Reggie Lewis. Perhaps I've come to take the capt. for granted. During all those tough years of cheering for the guy that was going to step up and help Pierce have a chance to win, I guess was always cheering for that other guy that was going to create that spark (we cheered for anyone G$, D west, Scal).

Enjoyed the regular season when you got to see Rondo cut loose with the other young guns. Or when someone else would get it going. Rondo and KG are more electrifying performers, Ray Allen has more class; but guess Pierce is still the Truth. Fact is I don't have a favorite - ubuntu rules

Amen. Ray ray is my ultimate favorite Celtic.  Behind him I would have to put the Captain, KG, Rondo and Shaq.

I'd say KG overall.  I have high hopes for Rondo but he's still too inconsistent.  But also:

Thirding this.  When Ray is hot I don't think I've seen such flawless body control and release.  Even Bird's form wasn't nearly as pure.  Absolutely beautiful.

I love Pierce because his game is so unique and he finds ways to separate from the defender like nobody else.  His herky-jerky motions are so hard to predict and they manage to look pretty and ugly at the same time.  If all the players on the court were blacked out I could pick out Paul in an instant because the way he moves is so unique.
