The Jazz and the Kings were the closest race, with the last three votes all going to Sacramento to swing the contest. The Conference Finals will be on Monday and the Finals on Wednesday!

Congrats to nick, Champ, Dons, and GC for putting together great teams.  All put together outstanding teams, and I'd like to think that we just had four different seven game series.

Congrats, also, to Rondo, IP, and Orien.  I'm honored to have made the Final Four with you guys.  I truly didn't expect to be here, and I look forward to more spirited competition.

So, it's the Pacific vs. the Central to see which division reigns supreme, huh?  It should be fun.

Phoenix should feel very happy to escape Utah

Yao Ming owns Dwight Howard + Pau Gasol would have torn Jamison to shreds. A very troubling matchup avoided for the Suns.

My hat goes off to StartOrien  (and the other teams advancing).

I had Phoenix as the #1 seed in the West so it was a bit tough to argue against them... but I still think DEN could have pulled off an upset 

Semi-finals isn't bad for DENVER -- a plucky little team that started with the 20th pick but didn't actually make their first pick until 2.11 after trading down 


TP for S.O. for the win, and bunches of TPs throughout the day and finals for Fafnir for being a great GM.

I think it's probably going to be the central as the best division. As I see it, there's only one elite team in the pacific

Ya, that's the truth. I was nervous about Utah, I figured if they got past Sacramento it meant that people expected Yao to be back at 100%.

As for the front page, I don't know about this year.

I do like the idea of changing format, so we're going to do it on the fly!

Every GM should prepare a case for their team, we'll post that in its own thread, then they can rebut their opposite GMs case in the same thread.

The overall Q&A flow and back and forth will be contained as usual in the playoff thread. Think of it as another press conference. I'm going to impose a word limit however, and no pictures or videos please. This is based on participant request for an easier place to locate summary arguments.
