Chase has an iPhone app that lets you deposit your checks by taking pictures of the front/back of the check, and submitting it through your app on your iPhone. I've already been using this for a couple months now, and every time I make a deposit like this, I'm always amazed. Just spectacular.

Star Gazer is another one. The interface is great, and you can search for a constellation, planet or star, and it uses arrows on your iPhone to direct you to it.

Shazam is an obvious one, but still amazing. It pretty much works every time for me, almost anywhere.

There is an App that lets me remotely access my PC from anywhere using my iPhone; I also sometimes connect my laptop to my HDTV, and can use my iPhone as a media controller and a wireless mouse.

I guess I probably sound like an iPhone fan boy, but you probably would be too if you had one.

Urbanspoon is handy.

I also like the google app where you can just say something (pizza) and stores etc pop up.

The flashlight app..... Free and when I needed some light, it really helped. Don't need it often, but nice to have when I do.

I use the calendar all the time because of my job.

I do wish there was a celtics app, :(
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I actually only use the app from the weather channel regularly. I have lost interest is most of the apps after 3 years of using an iPhone. I have used Netflix a little, but the battery drainage is so bad, I don't see myself using much in locations where I don't have a laptop available to use instead.

Air Sharing is awesome, one of the best apps I have. And sound recording wise, iProRecorder is miles ahead of iTalk Recorder. I hate Cooliris though, it seems to be the least practical program ever. It's like someone watched a random sci-fi movie and had a eureka moment that really shouldn't have been acted upon. Instapaper is cool, you got that one right.
Despite its format limitations, Stanza is my favourite app. Not sure if it's with productivity, but if all you want to do is read a document without formatting, it's a winner.

Midomi (really cool how it can identify songs just by you humming/singing into the mic)
LED Banner (it's sort of pointless but fun at parties)
Ebay (the quick refresh comes in handy on the go lol)
Poof (gets rid of unnecessary icons)
Remote
Crash Bandicoot (childhood favorite, lol)
there's a lot of great apps but those are the ones off the top of my head...
