click the link below to read a wonderful article about Dwight Howard and Kay Kellogg, an old lady stricken with cancer. It's one of those stories that just warms you up on the inside. haha! well, at least it made me smile.

Dwight is a very likable, admirable human being off the court.  I just wish he'd keep his elbows to himself on it.

I still don't like him on or off the court, but this was a very nice thing to do.  Nice story.

  • Rondo = Good
Aside from when he's deliberately plowing his elbows into our players below the rim, I don't see how anybody could dislike Dwight Howard.

He's such a nice, carefree guy, with a personality more like a big kid than anything else.  I like him wayyyyy more than LeBron or Kobe or whoever.  Only Kevin Durant ranks higher on my list among the league superstars.

Well he seems like a phony to me.  He tries way to hard to be funny, and he never is.  He jammed all that religious stuff down our throats for years, and I believe he ended up getting a Magic cheerleader pregnant who he is currently having custudy issues with.
The whole superman thing is a Shaq ripoff.  And he's a cheapshot artist on the court.
Yes, this was a nice little story.  Just remember that a lot of the supposed "bad guys" like Artest, Stephen Jackson, and Kobe also do nice things off the court.

Good point moiso. I beleive it was just this week that he caught the boys in blues attention by picking up his kid from daycare when he didn't have permission to from the ex magic cheerleader/reality star Reese something or other. Also in former magic players and current lakers players behaving badly news.. Matt Barnes was just arrested on Domestic Violence charges. Man am I glad he didn't end up here as so many here wished. Keep him over there in Laker land. He thrives on the dramatics apparently.

I wish more of these elite sportspeople would do more like this.

Good on you Dwight.

its so tough to judge the character of famous people these days.

regardless if he is fake or cheesey, this was a nice story, a nice gesture, and a classy thing to do.  so for this instance, dwight gets a tp from me.
