I was disappointed to see Tory Holt get hurt because I thought he could be very valuable opposite Moss. This guys would be even better. Also, the Jets are rumored to be after him so the Pats should be all over this.

Rumor around here is that he wants to return to the Bengals..Chad is going to lobby for him. I don't want him so u guys can have him. He is a cancer in the clubhouse. He left Cincy so he could be on a contender is what he said. And how did that work out, lol. U think T.O. is bad, just wait till u get him!!

Pass.

The Patriots' offense is fine (WR: fine, TE: fine, RB: fine for this year, weak in future, O-Line: could be better, but.. fine).  No need to sign someone else.

Where the Pats really need help is on defense.  I found it surprising that both Pierre Woods and Derrick Burgess were cut.  I think there is a possibility that Jarvis Green, who was cut by Denver, could end up back with the Pats.

I hadn't heard that Burgess and Thomas were cut.  That tells me that any $$ heading out to pick up guys who were cut elsewhere goes first to defense and hopefully to someone who can potentially put pressure on an opposing QB.

If they can't find a pass-rusher, I'd suggest that spend big bucks on Kreskin -- or someone who might be able to ESP them to a few winning coin tosses.  Looks like they're going to need to have the ball one more time than their opponents.

Completely agree.  That's why I think Jarvis Green is top of the list.

Huh.  Green getting cut is pretty surprising; Denver game him a fair amount of cash, didn't they?  Be awesome if they found room to bring him back (we sure need the depth).

I think Tate is going be put up better numbers than Stallworth, and Gaffney as that 2nd WR spot opposite Moss. I like the way the offense is going through a little bit of a youth movement.

Houshmanzadeh was actually putting up better numbers than Chad 'Ochocinco' the season before he left for the Seahawks. Now, I'm not the biggest NFL aficionado by any means, however the Bengals receivers, while being above average talent-wise, have always been a dramatic bunch.

That doesn't however mean that they can't get results come Sunday night, Monday night, Thursday night, etc. I'm sure plenty of Bengals fans would have no problem if Houshmanzadeh decided to return to Cincinnati (if it were possible). After the unfortunate tragic-death of wide receiver Chris Henry last season it might help boost our cities' morale to see someone who used to play for us back in the black-and-orange again. The Cincinnati Bengals aren't the winning-est sports franchise by any means, in fact some people are saying that Palmer might not be the same QB he was in say, 2005 however, we did record a winning season last year after winning our division and the best course of action would be for us to try and improve our team from where it was the season before.

I'm still hoping that this whole Terrell Owens, 'Total Request Live', 'T.O. Show' Owens doesn't end up as a huge fiasco; last season w/ the Buffalo Bills he was largely forgettable despite all of the media hype surrounding his signing with that team; I'm hoping that he + Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson will be enough that the Bengals can at least advance out of the first round of the playoffs this season, but as a Bengals fan after suffering through countless years of anguish and failed expectations I can never really get my hopes up too high...le sigh.

...well, at least the Cincinnati Reds are doing well this season.  ;)
