I've been thinking about his coming back? While his off court issues are troublesome. He hasn't tried to "choked out" any fellow player or coaches. He is a professional on the court and a good teammate. I can't find any "Professional" reason to not bring him back. Perhaps if we sign a "Shrink" as a Asst. Coach? He was the one player I didn't want traded for KG. For the Vet Minimum he will be low risk, high reward. We still need a LARGE Small Forward that can shoot 3's. MDaniels will be injured after 30 games if we have to rely on him to back up Pierce. IMHO.

How's he going to go from being a regular to an 11th-12th man?

This is a very deep team.

He should be in prison...But if he's in the NBA, who knows?  It might work.

Yes - he's way better than Wafer, who can be cut if someone better becomes available!

Delonte's nuttier than a payday.

I'd rather pass.

...And yes I do believe he gave Gloria the business.

One word...no. It's not that I don't respect him as a player, because I do, it's that I'm worried his off-court issues would bleed over and affect the team.  Besides that, I think we have enough guys at his position.  I'd rather Danny find someone to back up Pierce if for any reason Quis gets injured.

Dolonte West. No.

Adam West. Yes.

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

yes, tough defender, hustles and he can shoot and handle the ball. but i'd sign him only if DA has a solid plan for securing the SF spot because it's still a gaping hole and DW does not fill that need.

No

The table has been set and there is no chair for another small wing.  I would rather go without and see what this collection of players can do.

We need a wing.  Delonte is not one.  Plus all the baggage... no thanks.

Perhaps if we sign a "Shrink" as a Asst. Coach?

If part of your pitch bringing a player on board is hiring a "Shrink Asst. Coach" then I think you should pass on that player.

No - his off court troubles would offset his limited contributions to a degree that would make him irrelevant. It has been well documented that he enjoys getting high, carrying weapons, and has numerous personal issues. Among these personal issues is the fact that he has a fear of flying, and it's bad enough that it held up the Cleveland Cavaliers flight at one point last season. We don't need phony gangsters on the Celtics who have an affinity for irresponsibility and immaturity.

Why doesn't he just get himself a bus like John Madden if he's that afraid of flying?

Imagine how many guns he could fit on a bus.

He already had 3 on that little bike thing...

I was so elated when the C's got rid of Delonte, it would really be depressing if the C's brought him back. Seriously, this offseason has been ridiculously awesome, I'd rather them sign a Celticsblogger than Delonte West...please no Delonte!!!!
