Read this earlier .. "Boston on steroids" :o  The NBA know where to send the cups to pee in then!

Yeah, interesting choice of words given his new teammates'...shall we say "elite physiques".

I don't blame Eddie for being mad about the trade; I'd be mad too if I was a rotation player on a contender full of my friends and got traded mid-season to a lottery team.  He wouldn't be much of a competitor if that didn't sting quite a bit.

Good luck Eddie, glad you found a contender and hope you have a great season for the 90% of it that you aren't playing us.

I loved rooting for Eddie with the C's, but if his 3-point % hadn't dropped from 44.4% in '08-'09 to 38.3% for Boston last season, he might not've been traded. 38% is still pretty good, but represented a big dropoff for him from the previous season, and it wasn't just that his % dropped, but that he seemed (to me, at least) wildly inconsistent last season.

Steroids can destroy as well as build up the body.   Here is hoping that is the case for MIA.  I liked Eddie when he was here but hate him because he is on the Heat.   Hope he thinks LeBron's mom is hot.

Can’t wait to watch Eddie House try and cover Rondo/Nate... that should be hilarious.
Eddie has defended Nate plenty of times in the past when we played the Knicks. I don't think he is particularly scared. Did we go into games against the Knicks worrying about that?

If I recall correctly, House didn't guard Nate too much, it was mostly Rondo. Usually I think he was guarding Duhon.

But as for the comments - I like Eddie, so they are disappointing. If he expressed his bitterness last season after the trade, it would be more understandable. He bites his tongue and goes the PC-route and gets a heroes welcome. But, he is again with a good team, so why dwell now?

Does everyone on Miami wanted to be hated? Mike Miller seems to be the only one who has not said/done something idiotic thus far.

I'd expect Eddie of all people to understand that our big 3 are not able to cover for the bench's mistakes anymore. We need young guns like Nate,Von,Bradley to jump start our team during the droughts we so often see. He had a good run with us, but we all saw how Nate saved us twice during the playoffs, Eddie House could not physically do what Nate did for us.
Whats next Scal complaining? At least he cannot use the excuse that he did not see it coming... lol

How often did Nate start?

Look back at some old boxscores, I have no idea where you get the idea that House didn't guard Nate much. Both were bench players who play similar minutes. I don't have the time to look at the play by play part to see exactly how much their minutes overlapped, but I feel like you pulled that assertion out of nowhere.

I like Eddie's comments. He is just honestly answering questions after being cast to the wolves last season. And while we do not know how the moves to Miami will play out, the Heat's moves this offseason seem more impressive right now than the Celtics' moves in the summer of 2007.

On paper they look impressive but James and Bosh don't care about winning.  We knows Wade does and normally doesn't wilt under pressure.  I think their bigs stink compared to our bigs and there bench sucks.  Let House talk, it will fuel up our guys.

i dont think House talk will fuel our guys as much as their big 3 in Miami...

they're already thinking that they will win everything and challenged the whole league...

now that is fuel...such a strong team, everyone will be on them

Kind of surprised that this story comes up right now, but I understand Eddie's feelings and frankly, I can't blame him. He has the right spirit, and he will be great for Miami's needs and aspirations. He is the only player I like on their roster (with Wade... so far), so I can only hope he doesn't have a dagger 3 or a hot night against us in the playoffs if we meet!

of all the Miami hate, i actually like Wade as a player

Used to like Lebron a lot until all that crap he did over the summer...

"I'm going to remember everyone who were against me" or something like that...

this just make him sound a lot like a thug...starting to hate him now...
