I was on the red carpet at the Hall of Fame induction this past Friday.

I have some footage of players arriving (Malone, Pippen, Rodman, Ewing and more) with some interesting commentating...especialy for all the Lakers (Magic, Kareem, Pat Riley, Jerry West, etc.)

Did the same thing last year but didn't get it on video.  Make no mistake, I have much respect for all of the players.  Just had a little fun.

Oh yeah, and Larry Legend himself.

Wow, that's kinda loud! Good footage, though.

LOL...  "Kareem, welcome to Boston.  Now get out!"  Loved it.  TP

BTW how did you get to be on the red carpet? Did you need a special pass for that? Did anyone give you a hard time for engaging the inductees?

My best guess is that he won't have to worry about an invite next year...

Best line was Oakley beating up Chuck Norris. Blocked by Parish was #2.

Figures Magic was a better sport than Bird. Bird is really a no nonsense guy. I hate Johnson on TV (and even more so on the Lakers), but he seems more easy to get along with.

Are you related to the guy who heckled Stephen A Smith?

Pretty funny. Charles Oakley looks ancient.

None of the above.

Last year we were on the other side of the red carpet with the media.  Basically right place, right time.
This year, just slowly worked our way over to that spot.

No one gave me a hard time, they actually got a kick out of it.  If you listen closely in the beginning the lady working the red carpet yells out "We need you", because I was introducing the players.

Yeah ... it was difficult to recognize him, he's changed so much, not just the gray hair, but facial features, too. Pretty cool to be able to do that ... didn't surprise me that Larry was less responsive, as he consistently shuns the public spotlight, and really does not like the media or the attention of the public. TP, DChuck ... that was fun to watch!
