Steph Curry has improved progressively ... if he stays healthy, he's going to be a lot of fun to watch in the next few years. I like his game.
Curry still isn't comfortable on this team. Not as a PG bossing around his team. He is going to get more confidence with each passing game and with that improvement we're going to see a truly gifted passer + floor general.

He is still nowhere near the playmaker (for Team USA) that he was for Golden State last season.

Yes, I'll be watching.

Hopefully, we blow out France by 30 instead of 20.  :P

And...hopefully Rondo goes off.

Big fan of Eric Gordon. He has a lot to offer to this team.

I'll be very disappointed if he gets cut.

He sure shot and defended well today - I'd be surprised if he's cut.

Rondo or Westbrook most likely final cut.

Come on. Rondo started against France and China, and he did well against France as far as I saw. I doubt he's getting cut.  ::)

I do think that a guard will be cut, though. If we cut Westbrook (who I think would be cut), that leaves us with Rondo, Rose, Billups, Curry, and Gordon. That's more than enough for our guard rotation.

Rondo started the game and is the only pass-first guy on a roster full of scorers.

If the rotations in this game are any indication, the battle for the last spot is between Westbrook and Gordon, with Gordon having the edge for his 2-guard skill-set (Westbrook didn't even make it on the court until the the last few minutes of the 4th).
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Yeah, I agree, I think Rondo looks safe.

He'll be on the team and stands a good shot at starting.

Dont get me wrong I love Rondo my comment was not a knock on him at all.  It is just the make up of the team...why I made the statement I did, they have to many guards.

It is just my opinion.

Rondo's definitely in, Chauncey, Durant, Chandler, Iggy ... very sloppy today, but I kind of expected it at this point, (not a big concern).

If he was on the verge of being cut, why would he start consecutive exhibition games along with the locks to make the roster (Durant, Billups...)?

Can someone give me a quick sum up on how Rondo did?

I think the starting lineup is set and will include Rondo and Billups.  It seems that Curry, Westbrook, or Gordon will be the final cut.

Is there a box score anywhere or does anyone know Rondo's final stats for this game?

PDF box score will be on the FIBA and usabasketball website later today. It's sunday so it'll probably take a while.

As for why Rondo will definitely be on the team, remember that Coack K wants to employ a full court press, and nobody has been leading that better than Rondo (and Iggy). This team is predicated on causing turnovers, which is why Rondo is needed. He also plays better with Billups at the 2 than Rondo does (which is why they've been playing together most of the time).

I don't think he started the China game, but his play in it earned him the start against France.

Well, again, he started, great sign for Rondo.

He blew past a couple of guys for easy layups, which I loved. He distributed here and there, but I forgot how well. Again, I don't see how he's cut.

I imagine a boxscore can be found here when it's finally up: http://www.usabasketball.com/mens/national/schedule.html Hopefully it's an hour or so. : p
