Some news from Croatia. Croatian handball player Ivano Balić was officially named the greatest handball player of all-time. I know handball isn't popular in US like in Croatia, but what is interesting, Balić is big, big Celtics fan. He got tatoo of shamrock, is big PP fan and wares #34 in honor of our Captain.
Peace
No1 Celtics fan in Croatia

Good for him, he is very deserving. I am not a big fan of handball but have watched a game now and then and I know Balic is one of the best there is.

Wow lots of croat C's fans:)
He brought basketball aproach to the entirely different spot, he is the reason people started counting assists in handball, so he qualifies just right:)
P.S. He is born in the same city (mine:) as two croatian ex NBA players, one of which was a celt (Dino Radja) and the other one was named best 6th men in the league (T. Kukoc).

Played handball for 12 years. It's an awesome game.

And yeah, it makes sense that they'd like Boston, since we've got a very physical play-style. Handball is a lot more physical than Basketball! I used to get home with bruises, carpet-burn-like knees and the occasional dislocated shoulder. Not to mention that this game is where I screwed up my ankles and knees lol :]

We were really good though.

I'll shut up now, before I go into how many times we were the best team of the league :p

Whoop whoop!!!
