Not sure how reliable this is, but here you go.

I'm also not sure why this is what the Celtics chose to do with the contract, guess it means that there wasn't anything better available via trade. Kind of disappointed, but it is what it is.

Signing Hughes would add insult to injury.

Jarvis Hayes? Bobby Simmons? Anyone who doesn't consider playing time an entitlement and won't brood/pout on the sidelines when his major contribution may be to wave a towel for 45 minutes a night.

since we waived/bought out rasheed that means he could jump back on by the March playoff roster deadline..that is "if" we need him
Pick 2 Heat:
Pg: Jennings/Vasquez
Sg: Wade/R. Allen/Rivers

Ew!!!  Forget Larry Hughes.  He's a bum at a position where we are already very deep.  Signing Hughes would be a complete head scratcher as far as I'm concerned.

Danny, be done.  Cut Lafayette, and keep the rest of the roster as is going into the season.  That includes keeping Gaffney and Erden who can play up in Maine and possibly get lucky enough to get some call ups.

No more tinkering neccessary for this legitimate title contender.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Does waiving Sheed make it easier for the Celtcs to resign him towards the end of the season opposed to if he had retired/ was traded?

The Celtics won’t be trading or bringing back Rasheed Wallace this season.

So according to that quote, I don't think we will be bringing back Sheed, but if we did, then it would be awesome.

Now I just hope we don't sign Hughe...that would be horrible.

I agree, I'd really like to add Bobby Simmons or Jarvis Hayes to give us more depth at the three, and both of them are bigger than Daniels. And pretty solid role players.

That's a bummer.  I had hopes for a guy like Diaw.

Oh well.  It's back to scouring the vet min wings and postulating BBD trades.
