I think your guys are too young or soft spoken to be leaders that can keep him in line.

I'd be curious to hear the list of guys that *could* keep Gilbert in line.

One factor here might be the "coaches round", which we haven't discussed very much.  With the right coach, and the right system, Gilbert could probably do okay.
Coaches round will be run over the weekend very casually, no time limits or anything like that.

I was going to randomize it but I've decided to do an inside out snake.

So the 16th pick would pick first, then the 15th, then the 17th, and then the 14th and so on.

The middle picks deserve to go first once!

Sweet. I either have the 3rd or 4th pick in coaches round.

Can these picks be involved in trades?

It's a very short list, Roy.  The opposite of young and soft spoken would be veteran and not soft spoken.  I'd say KG? Kobe? Wade?  Pierce?  Ray?  Chris Kaman?  Tyson Chandler?   ;)

OK, serious on only the first 5.  But not even definitely sold on all of them.

Definitely coaches matter too.  Doc would be great for him.  I think Pops, Karl, and maybe Larry Brown and Phil J would too.  Is it not cool to name coaches before their drafted?

The Supersonics could not have imagined the past two rounds going better for them, considering they didn't have a pick in them.

diss!

Just sayin' nothin helped my team more than a 2 round run on Bigs and PGs.

Sounds good. And I'll be interested to see what M.L. Carr can do in Chicago.

Is the 4th round now complete? If so, Can I make the 5 (1) pick now? Also, I understand we'll be drafting for coaches this weekend? What's that schedule looking like?

The 5th round starts around 9:00am.  No picks until tomorrow morning, but if you're not going to be around, you can leave a list.

In terms of the coaches round, there's no formal schedule.  The draft order should be up soon.

Ha, I was just kidding. I agree with you though. The run has been good, which is why I've been moving my picks back.

What the heck are you doing in Millinocket, Jsaad?  It's not exactly the metropolitan capital of northern New England.

I'm not sure what Fafnir's position is on starting early.
