Does anyone know if he'll actually be wearing these shoes during the games? Maybe I'm over-reacting a little, but I'm a bit concerned. With all the troubles he's had with his legs, I don't really want to see him in a pair of shoes that kind of look cheap. The heel of the shoe in particular makes me nervous.

I think the shoe is awesome. What's wrong with the heel?
I love the cool look of the strap. Maybe I'll go buy me some.

What a dumb design. What's with the strap? These shoes need a purse to match than look durable for an NBA player. He must've ok'd it....after his paycheck

Are you seriously concerned about KG's health because of a picture of his sneakers? Who knows how they are actually constructed? Hei s one of Adidas' biggest names, so I doubt they will give him junk.

The only problem I would worry about for an NBA players sneakers is ankle protection. Some injuries are unavoidable - such as Pierce's when Butler fell on him - but good ankle protection is important. Other than that, toe, heel, foot, shin, knee, etc. are all injuries from play.

As for the shoes themselves, I don't particularly like them, especially in comparison to his previous models.

Ron Artest was wearing shoes last year from some Chinese company and Phil constantly was contantly giving him crap about how poorly designed they were, saying he would get hurt.  Maybe these aren't, but they certainly don't look as high of quality as the shoes KG has been wearing.

It's more I just wonder why this really was necessary for hm. I'm sure he's making more money, but I'm sure that Addidas money wasn't bad either.
