Webber and Marbury, excellent calls. Can we count Len Bias? We don't know for sure how he'd have done in the NBA. He could've been another Gerald.

Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

Micheal Ray Richardson. Incredible talent lost to drugs. Roy Tarpley (alcohol). John "Hot Plate" Williams (overeating). JR Ryder (attitude). Harold Miner (original "next MJ").

Not in history, but Sebastian Telfair I'd say has to be on some kind of "most disappointing" list

With the hype he had comin out of high school...he's a classic case of "should've gone to college"

I think Sheed and Baron Davis should be on the list as well.

In his prime, Sheed was the complete package and more talented than TD or KG. He just didn't want it as much.

Baron Davis had all the physical tools to be a dominant offensive and defensive player if not for injuries and a poor attitude.

Larry Johnson and Kenny Anderson.  2 guys that dominated in college that were absolutely fun to watch.  I thought LJ was going to have a Barkley and Anderson an Archibald type career.

Some other notables Glenn Robinson.  Another very dynamic scorer in college that I thought was going to carry over much better in the pros.  How about our own Rasheed Wallace.  Everyone says his career could have been so much better.  Vince Carter.  He had all the tools to be such a dominating force and one of the all time greats but didn't seem to care that much.

People are spot on about Derrick Coleman.  His talent suggests he should have been one of the best power forwards ever.

Lebron James followed by Kobe. Nobody disappoints me more. On a slightly tangential point that Olympic team we put out there that got crushed was very disappointing.

Penny Hardaway......and to a much lesser extent Juwan Howard should belong on the list somewhere.

The ones that are cheating on roids.

Also i refuse to recognize Len Bias as an NBA player since he never took the court or signed a contract.

Pervis Ellison

Former number 1 pick that ended up not playing very much. Bill Russell drafted him. One big man to another he had to have seen something in him.

I remember he signed like a 6 year contract with the Celtics or something and maybe played like 12 games? I don't know I read where he stubbed his toe getting out of bed or something and never heard from him again.

I gotta say Ron Mercer. I was pumped we got him, and he put up good early numbers, but things just went downhill...Steve Francis had more success, but he also flamed out really quickly.
