::The video is an interview of Shaq expressing his feelings about the team, and the possibility of Rasheed Wallace coming out of retirement::

That was a really good article, loved shaq's attitude. I dont care what anyone says I believe in the green monster. I think he's gonna be in better shape than we expect and he's gonna play his ass off every night.

Shaq may have called Kobe out on a cell phone video shot in a night club, but kobe called shaq out right after the game during the post-game press conference, the first thing he said "Got one more than Shaq now"  That had to have p---ed him off just a lil bit :P
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

Eh...

I didn't hear him say Perk is the starter when he returns or that he doesn't mind coming off the bench behind JO.

Also, it appears that either we can't get anything for 'Sheed's contract or he hasn't given his word that he will retire for sure (with no buy-out).

If he comes back (which I am not totally opposed to), I think we have to move Baby at the all-star break if Perkins is definitely ready. Six guys would be vying for 96 minutes in the playoffs - which around 36 would go to KG.

I know they are all interested in winning, but will any be satisfied with severely lessened roles than they were ever accustomed too in their careers (except BBD) or even DNP's?

I'm just going to say right now that I'm praying KG doesn't play 36 minutes at all until the conference finals (assuming we get there, knock on wood) Our depth is too good to justify wearing down KG early on in the post-season this upcoming year.

And assuming we aren't getting a Boris Diaw, Prince or Battier I don't think I'd mind Rasheed coming back. He earned a lot of people's respect with his game seven performance, and justifiably so. Plus, the more I think about it the more I fall in love with the idea of a Shaq/Rasheed 4/5 combo off the bench. I'm thinking they would be a terrific fit together.

Yup ... no way I want KG playing that many minutes in the regular season, (TP) ... wouldn't care about losing Sheed or Scal, though.

How dare you not care if we lose Scal. As a man currently wearing a Brian Scalabrine #44 jersey shirt, I am offended. ;)

Don't get me wrong, I think Scal is one of the nicest guys the NBA ever saw, and his basketball IQ is amazing, I'm just beyond the point where I think his contributions measure up to his roster spot/salary. I would absolutely love to have Scal in a Tyronn Lue-type of capacity, where he'd be a huge contributor in a coaching/support role, and always in the wings should we need him on the court. I'm actually sorry I lumped him in with Sheed in that sentence, (forgive me for that, Bud), cuz they are worlds apart in my opinion, and I have very few positive things to say (or feel) about Rasheed anymore. Yeah, he gave us a couple of games of decent contribution when the playoffs came around, but his apathy and inconsistency just doesn't support that kind of paycheck. ;)

I actually agree with you 100 percent. Although I have gained respect for Sheed. He put his work in when it counted most. Didn't do it every single night in the regular season.. but who really cares about that? :P

But, having met Scal for a quick minute, I can say with some sort of backing that he does seem to be a really nice guy. I mean, I pretty much only wear his jersey for comical relief purposes and I absolutely hated the signing five years ago (Wow. It's been a while eh?) but over the past couple, I've grown to actually like the guy a bit. I'd also love to see him back on the bench as apart of the coaching staff or something similar.

We don't need much.
Go Get the Ball!  Dunk the Ball!
Go Get the Ball!  Outlet the Ball
Foul the player hard!  If he wears yellow and purple or red/white, Foul the player harder!
Hit one out of two free throws.

That's all big fella.  That's all.
