what do you guys think about jerry stackhouse for the vet min? He can't played perfect D, but he's a  solid offensive option to back up Pierce... instead of relying of mikki moore. i mean marquis.

Marquis Daniels did more in his first game last year than Mikki Moore did his whole time here, so let's not go down that road.

Eh...I don't really see the point.  I don't think he does much more than Wafer or Daniels, especially at his age.

Stackhouse is actually a downgrade to Marquis. I'm really looking forward to see what Nate/Von/Avery/Marquis can do off the bench.

I was thinking about Stackhouse before, but with Avery-Nate-Von already there, I don't think we need him.

From the remaining FA's, I still have my eyes on Rodney Carney as 3rd string SF. So we would end up with something like:

Pierce/Quis/Carney

I don't think Stack gives us anymore than Finley did last year, which was practically nothing

How about Stephen Graham ??

But, reportedly, he's drawing interest from Charlotte, Miami, Memphis and the Clippers.

I like this graham. He's a big 3 which we could mold into someone who defends the lebrons of that position

but out of the 3 names I have so far mentioned, my fav still is Rodney Carney.

He may have been talking about how Marquis looks kind of like Moore with that hair. It was pretty disturbing the first time I saw it,

Yes, I was referring to his disgusting hair. I'll admit it's unfair to compare him to Mikki moore. but I still think he didn't live up to expectations. Last summer everyone was raving about this signing, that he could basically take up the point forward position for the 2nd unit. It ended up he was very turnover prone and terrible rebounder.. although I'll admit he's an above-average player when it comes to attacking the rim and finishing. i understand he had an injury that messed up his rhythm, but from the start of the season when we played cleveland, it was easy to see the guy can't guard lebron for his life.

Stackhouse is a 6-6 SG. Based on what I was told earlier this evening on another thread, 6-6 is too small for a SF. So no, I don't want Stackhouse.

If we sign him, we should no longer be called the Boston Celtics...we should be called the Boston Nursing home

Is he available?  I haven't heard anything.  Looking at his stats, he'd be idea.  Would you give up BBD for him?  I wouldn't.

Aren't we done with significant roster moves now?  Only thing left is to decide where the rooks go (D-league, inactive, etc) and what happens to Sheed is still unclear.  Let's move on!
