Shaq vs. Jim Rome. The Twitter War!

Anyone else witnessing the twitter war between Shaq and Jim Rome? It all started by Jim Rome questioning Shaq’s legacy as a NBA player.

“You could have done more. And should have done more. That’s the whole point. You never fully committed to conditioning or taking care of your body. Or learning how to defend a pick and roll. Or shooting your throws. You never approached the game with the dedication and discipline of Kobe Bryant, for instance... Being a Celebrity and Entertainer was as important as being a Champion. Sure, you’re going to the Hall of Fame. And you’ve had a great career. But it could have been even better. You may have four rings but you should probably have six. So now would be a great time to stop saying you did more than expected, because you didn’t. And no one else thinks so.”

Shaq then responded with….

“Jim rome, I am happy with my career and the legacy that I have left behind, obviously u r not happy wit yur legacy I 4got u have no legacy”

Now we have a fight. Shaq challenged Rome the to a boxing match live on ESPN to which Rome responded he will not fight him and that Shaq is out of his weight class. He then said Shaq got suckered into this twitter fight with him to which Shaq responded with this.

“I'm not Jim lol and yur not Barkley lol”

(Charles Barkley?)and this funny Jim "Chris" Everett video. He calls the man a girl tennis player to his face and almost gets bet to a pulp. Gotta say this is funny, bice comeback Shaq.

Never been a fan of Rome.  He's a bit of a blowhard. 

His legacy is and will always be the Jim "Chris" Everett incident.

I have the exact same question, although I am inclined to believe the screams are a sound bite from something else cause I have seen the fight before and never heard the screams...

Shaq should worry less about twitter and more about getting his butt in shape. No-one's legacy should need special clarification.
