Once the Shaq signing became official I could not help myself. I reached out to Jeanie Buss via Twitter and wrote the following:

Since that exchange I have received countless messages from Faker fans! They are spewing venom. They will say they don't care that Shaq has signed with their rivals and that he is washed but you know deep down they hate this. You can't live in the past with if and buts, but if the Celtics had Shaq in Game 7 last year I just wonder if we would be the 18-time NBA Champions! Enjoy this! If you told me in 2007 we would have a roster in 2010 that included KG, Paul, Ray, Jermaine O'Neal and Shaq I would have told you that you were nuts. People keep bringing up age, but our best player is 25 and look at the bench! Plenty of youth on this roster! Let's pray for health and hopefully come summer 2011 we will have a re-match with the Fakers to take back what is rightfully ours!
