Kevin Durant is a freaking stud, I never really become fans of anyone who isnt wearing a green jersey but this kid is really cool. He tweeted earlier that he was gonna be at this mall and told people to come down and that he would buy them shoes and t-shirts and what-not it was pretty funny. Seems like he has a good head on his shoulders too, almost an anti-lebron. I hope OKC somehow trades this kid to the celtics someday soon. I dont know what it would take because you'd have too be retarded too get rid of him, but this is one i'm gonna keep in the back of my mind until he is out of his prime.

I watched the Blue vs White game and it seemed like Rondo and Durant would be insane together. Durant has reallly good, big hands. He is very aware of sneaky, quick passes. He never fumbles the ball and he always finishes. A lot of the big guys Rondo played with dropped some really good passes because they werent expecting them and rondo was always 3 steps closer to the basket than anyone on the floor with him.
Imagine if we somehow got Dwight Howard and Kevin Durant for the 2013 season?

That would be pretty close to having KG and Shaq in thier prime with rondo... insanity
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

The only way Durant comes to play for the Celtics is if a Celtics fan buys the State of Oklahoma and decides to pass a law forbidding the NBA from doing business there. Then the Thunder would have to relocate back to Seattle and the owner of Oklahoma and their dislocated team out of the "goodness of their heart" decides to trade KD for KG and Ray Allen.

Who in their right mind would ever think to do that? (Somebody who lives at the Vin Baker Memorial better start buying the super lotto jackpot).
The beatings will continue until morale improves

You know who Durant said the one player he couldn't wait to play with for Team USA?

It was Rondo.  Kind of a diss to his current PG Westbrook.

The landscape of the NBA can change drastically in 2 or 3 years time so you never know.

KD is my fave player that's not a Celtic. i don't think he'll be available anytime soon. He signed a pretty long extension with OKC.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Durant is almost too perfect a ball player. Nice guy, great heart, leader, and a subtly flawed game because despite his height he's still not quite strong enough.

I mean, what more do you want from a superstar. Too perfect not to love, just flawed enough not to hate.

KD has a smooth mid range/pull up game.

He's probably better, but KD reminds me of Reggie Lewis.

I don't really think that's a diss to Westbrook.  Durant also humbly said that he hopes things go well and that he himself makes the team.
Durant has a great game and seems to be all business/no diva.
The guy actually made sure his contract extension didn't have an opt-out clause because he didn't want it to become a distraction!  Amazing.  I would love to cheer for him on the C's.

I actually think that KD is the best player in the NBA right now.

I don't think that's defensible yet..not with LeBron being a 2x MVP, with an ECF and a Finals under his belt.

LeBron's backlash is just superstrong right now.

Maybe I just need an NBA hero, but Durant seems to be the only star in the NBA who isn't flopping, whining, playing dirty, or engaging in any sort of despicable off-court activities.

I'd love to have him don Celtic green, but that ship has sailed. I wonder what it could have been if we had the second instead of the fifth pick in that draft...

I always liked Durant since his days at Texas but he really won me over this offseason on Twitter after he called out fellow superstars for jumping on contending teams and not being competitive and also for tweeting that he missed Seattle and Key Arena.  Seems like a great guy and easily my favorite non Celtic.
