One of the latest Yahoo! sports columns lists Gody as an official roster member...did I miss something or are the people at yahoo just retarded?:P
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

Not yet, but it's basically a formality at this point.  He's going to be signed, the technicalities need to be worked out but there's no question he's going to be signed, get at least one year guaranteed with some team options, and he'll make the squad barring something completely out of left field happening.

I'd say he gets a 2 year deal like BBD did when he was a rookie.

Not sure what to make of Luke.  Sure, he took a ton of shots this summer.  Seems he did the same in college and appears the team did better with him out of the lineup.  However, in this Summer league, the team did worse with him out of the lineup.

Pre-draft link on 'Gody'.

I think Gody will see some minutes on this team.  He's the only big on the team who can hit 3s.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

With his motor, and how he understands how to get to his spots, to the open spaces, he could score alot of garbage points with this team.

All the defenders will be focused elsewhere...

I "love" the idea of

Shaq > 310 lbs
Baby > 290 lbs
Gody > 250 lbs
Pierce > 230 lbs
Whover...

:)

Long time ago. I think he was one of the first rookies to sign his contract.

Yes. First of July, just before his surgery.

Why?

I don't.  He can't play the 5, so he's limited to the 4.  And with BBD blossoming, how are we going to find minutes for Harangody other than in blowouts?

Even if KG only plays 28 mpg, how can we justify not giving BBD the other 20?  If anything, he probably deserves more.

I'd be shocked if Harangody is even on the active roster.

The Starting 5

Shaq
BBD
Daniels
Wafer
Nate

Bradley

He could be the 12th man, but a) I don't see a 12th man playing and b) that's only if we don't get someone for Sheed's deal.

Harangody will be Erdens roommate at Maine in the D league.

He will not be among the active 12 on he roster unless there is a rash of injuries and we need a body. He will not be inactive in any case, that is a waste when he could be a legit D league stud. IMO, he is likely a one and done guy with us if he cant play some SF. Not very likely based on summer league performance, but who knows?
