Never thought I'd ever see the day Shaq would be in Celtic green.

Albeit, its in the twilight of his career but still a sight, nonetheless.

Fantastic! The Celtics couldn't have done better (with in reason) to replace the void at the center position.

I welcome the O'Neals with open arms, even though I spent many years cheering against them.

Seriously the novelty alone has me very excited.

He is one guy I have always wanted to meet in person. I just cant picture a guy that big and strong being so gregarious. I have run into MANY Celtics in the past...who knows maybe now is my chance to meet Shaq!

I was fortunate to meet Shaq when I was in Orlando and he was with the Magic. He was a very nice guy.

I just cant picture a guy that big and strong being so gregarious.
On a totally unrelated note, most big guys I know are gregarious. Interesting.

As I said on the earlier post about what number he might take...

1st choice....36, I can't remember any former Boston player with this number (that would make for a unique choice by a unique player)

Is he the first to wear 36?

Indeed, the Big Leprechaun is the first to wear #36 in Celtics history.

Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

I have it! Shaq is sending a message to the Heat with his selection of number 36. Shaq is saying that Wade and Lebron combined can never equal one Shaq. As good as any theory, until the big man speaks!

(I don't really believe this, but sounds good)
