No rumor or speculation, just something fun to think about. The C's would have the largest number of over-the-hill All-Stars ever assembled on one team. Ray, Paul, KG, JO, Shaq, and T-Mac. If only it were 2003. In all seriousness, Tracy might actually be the best available free-agent wing at this point, especially if he is willing to sign a Shaq-like deal and come off the bench. The C's, for better or worse, would be a traveling circus. They would probably receive (almost) as much media attention as the Heat and draw comparible numbers at various arenas when out on the road.

RR, NR, AB
RA, MD, VW
PP, T-MAC
KG, GD, LH
(KP), JO, SO, SE

There wouldn't be "great" defense on the second unit, but it could be passable. The offense, on the other hand, would be very well balanced.

Don't get me wrong. I'd prefer to use Sheed's contract to trade for the perfect wing off the bench; however, given the remaining list of free-agents, I think T-Mac may be the best option.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

T-Mac hasn't realized that he has to accept a lesser role yet and Shaq obviously has.  I personally would think he would be a distraction at some point but for the Vet min he would be a decent signing since the money wouldn't matter (easy to say about 1.5 million when it isn't mine)

I would have liked Tim Thomas even though he has off court issues so age and injury doesn't scare me...unless someone starts mentioning Anfernee Hardaway around here.

We need a defensive player.  That's not Tmac.

Say NO to post injury players who lost a step.
