I think Delonte would compliment Nate.
Would that be on his eyes, or on his legs?

On his mom...

I thought we should sign Delonte at this point just to keep him away from the Lakers.  If the Lakers end up with Barnes AND West to back up their wings...

LOL.  Delonte is hardly good enough for us to worry about what team he plays for.  How did he do helping Cleveland beat us? ::)

Point taken.  But do we want to see the Lakers with a shooting guard depth that goes like this:  Kobe / Barnes / West?

It beats the Celts' current wing depth, that's for sure.

Who cares? Barnes? West?  I'll say again, how did West and Barnes do in helping their teams eliminate the Celtics?  They were non-factors.  Now if they got Battier or Posey or someone similar I might worry, but Delonte and Barnes?  No.

Maybe on Delonte.  But now that it looks like Shaq is coming, does Danny have bigger plans at the 2/3 with Sheed's deal?

I hope so.  I really want Corey Brewer.

I'm not sure Brewer is the bigger plans.  I'm wondering if he now will try something bigger... though I'd hesitate because of the frailty of Shaq and Jermaine, would you trade Sheed and Perk for Tayshaun Prince?

Sheed?  Yeah.  Sheed and Perk? No.

Would you trade Perk knowing that it's possible a) he might not come back this year and b) that Ainge might not re-sign him this offseason?

If he was healthy, I'd be with you.  Now, I'm torn.

It is so hard to get a young quality center in this league that I might want to hold onto Perk unless if he was part of a big deal to get someone like Bogut or Oden.   Something like Perk, Baby, Sheed, and a draft pick for Bogut.

But why would an up and coming team like the Bucks trade Bogut?

The Pistons are looking to get younger and dump salary, so Tayshaun makes some sense.

And while Perk's injury hurts his value to some degree, if a team offers him 8-10 million dollars per year over 4-5 years, does Danny match?

If not, should we just get someone to help us win #18 right now?

That Celtics should.

That's why they should not trade Perk.  When Perk comes back, he makes the biggest difference against Orlando and LA in the playoffs.

I'm not saying the Bucks would I'm just saying I would look for that type of deal if we were to look into trading Perk.   Although I really like Prince I would be hesitant to trade Perk for a bench player on this team.

We may still be able to get a very quality SF backup using Sheed's contract and #1 draft pick so I don't think we should rush into trading Perk just yet.

Plus we are not quite sure if Perk will be ready come playoff time but if he is I'd rather have him on this team.

If a team offers Perk that much when he is a free agent I would hope Danny would look into a sign and trade similar to what happened with David Lee.

I have never thought that Delonte West is that good as a celtic or since.  I think Nate will be a big plus this year and how many minutes are behind our all star pg anyways.  If we are thinking of dwest to get minutes at sg than we aren't thinking correctly.
