New teams.  new gimmicks.  New rivals.

Can I move that the entire SE division from 2008 be "randomly" assigned to the same division?

YES!!!
I would say that we epitomized UBUNTU! Remind me KC, it was:

KCattheStripe (Washington, right?)
Lucky17 (atlanta)
Gainesville Celtic (orlando)

who were the other GMs of Miami and Charlotte? was it Nick? Walker Wiggle?... (sorry y'all i'm getting old ... at 37  :-[)

You're all under official warning. This spirit of camaraderie/friendly competition is not in the spirit of the game.

Also before my spell check got it I tried to spell camaraderie "commeradity"...which eventually got me to comradely, which I eventually decided was not the word I wanted. So I google searched and got camaraderie.

Americans are becoming stupid. I'm not only a member, I'm....

Well I'm just a member, but we're dumb.

All this good tidings, well wishing and mutual admiration is good. Let's all sing Kumbaya, then trade your high picks to Rebus. ;D

Can we help it if the 2008 Southeast Division was -- in the immortal words of "old friend" Tony Allen -- "feeling real Ubuntu?!?"
 ;D

And yes that guy above was the 2008 SE Division Commissioner/Lead Ubuntuer.

Right! TP Tradetime... you took over mid-draft and were a great addition to the division!

Real Shame that Perk is injured this year, I could definitely see him being a second round pick this year if not for the injury.

We have enough people right now we're just sorting out co-GM's and the rules.

can't compete against that darn scrolling text...

Assistant GM spot -- DALLAS MAVERICKS -- now open to all qualified individuals

responsibilities include:

*contacting other team GMs/assistant GMs
*compiling and soliciting interest in potential trades
*talking me out of playing "small ball" and drafting 9 SF/PF's

qualifications include:

*text/font savvy
*mastery in the art of manipulation
*an innate hatred of scrolling messages and the city of Houston

2007:  Roy Hobbs stacks the Boston Celtics, led by a big man rotation of Tim Duncan, Pau Gasol, Andrea Bargnani, and Luis Scola.

2008:  Portland hires Roy Hobbs, and places first in its conference voting, and also wins the "team of the future" vote

2009:  The Portland juggernaut continues, as the CrotoNats (led by Edgar and co-managed by RH) win the first "official" CB Draft title

2010:  Roy Hobbs retires.  All other GMs are no longer playing for second place. ;)
