Finally linking the team to its mascot, I would like to announce that I will be changing our team name to:

The Phoenix Gorillaz

All players will be required to listen to the Gorillaz' album Plastic Beach, as well as watch the 1997 blockbuster Congo.

So people know my pre-draft trading goal:

Trade 2(27) + 3(27) or 4(3) for a mid first and another pick.

I have a few players who I'd be targeting and if I don't get them, then during the draft I'll be looking to trade a mid first for a 2nd and 3rd round combo

[New York] After receiving numerous threats via email, New York Knicks GM - Ohio Celtics Fan, has decided it imperative to leave New York. OCF said in an interview earlier, "I've recently received several emails from Mikhail Prokhorov with the subject line 'there's not enough room in this town for the both of us'. I fear for my women and my draft picks." OCF later commented that he was going to leave it up to the other 29 NBA GM's to decided his new city.

In a move that's widely being deemed as a publicity stunt, OCF plans to open the floor for nominations tomorrow. The first four entries will then be voted on the next day. OCF added at the end of the interview, "I harbor no ill will towards (Prokhorov) and I very much enjoy the motherland in the winter."
