With the Summer League behind us, and I hope you all spent time watching it some good ball there, who do you think will take the RoY?  Let's expand our minds and imagine it won't be so easy as John Wall even though he tore up the SBL.

Wall was awesome, but I actually think he will come in second for RoY.

Winner: Blake Griffin- Fully repaired he should be 100%, but he also had a whole year to watch and learn his teams system and NBA play, he really has a foot up on the competition.

Dark Horse: Greivis Vasquez- This guy gives me such a feeling of awe.  He is cocky and plays at his own pace... reminds me of Jason Kidd.

John Wall.

Haha, sorry, I had to.  If it were only this year's draft class, it would almost be a lock.  Griffin could challenge him though.  Splitter could turn out to be a more effective player, but won't have the numbers to win it.  Evan Turner is the other guy I think could challenge.  He seems to be a ball dominator which bodes well for counting stats which basically rules the ROY voting.  I've never seen Paul George play, but he seems to be on the right type of team to get a chance to put up big #'s.  Also Jordan Crawford could surprise people in New Jersey.  Cousins I think will be very good, but not ROY good.

Blake Griffen Without a doubt.  They have one of the best front courts in the league.  B diddy running the point and Eric Gordon is a very promising 2 guard.  They are a playoff team this year in the west.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Just wondering, since I totally did not follow summer league, did Blake Griffin play?
If so what were his games like, although I know it doesn't count much, but was he being the beast he is?
Anything is possible!!!

Once Ray starts to show his age, the Celtics will get desperate and Avery Bradley will once again be rated higher than John Wall!

It's probably gonna be Wall or Griffin, but don't sleep on Wesley Johnson.  He's an older rookie who can fill boxscores and Minnesota's gonna need production from somewhere.  He could easily wind up somewhere around 18 pts, 5 reb, 3 ast, 1+ blk/stl.  That could be enough to get it done, especially if Minnesota is anywhere north of completely terrible next year.

Oh you mean just what they said about a certain trail blazer player that had the very same thing happen to him? yeah that didnt turn out to be a positive thing for him.

Eighter Cussins or Wall

Wall or Griffin (if eligible) are good picks not quite sure I agree with Vasquez/Kidd comparison.  I would go more with Garcia kid that plays for Sacramento that so many C's fans find enticing.

Griffin IS eligible next year, as he didn't play a single regular season game. I really think he has to take it this year - he has freakish athleticism. Even though Kaman, Gordan and Davis are no slouches by any means, he should get the ball a lot.

In all fairness to Oden, sitting and watching may have been good for him. He was great this past year when he played. He simply can't avoid injuries.

My pick for ROY is Blake, even if John Wall is in the discussion.
