I understand what are you hinting, and there will always be some sour losers no matter how good or bad the refs are, but changing the way you call the game in the last qtr of the last game of the season is hardly something that can go unnoticed by anyone remotely interested in basketball. And thats why you have so many people yelling out "conspiracy" on a regular bassis.
I don't even mind when Kobe gets his amount of free throws like he did in g7, he is Kobe afterall and you re used on it. But when one retarded (srry mod) player like Gasol manage to flop his way to free throw line 10 times per game it p---es regular Cs fan alot.
No one is saying that Bynum was protected or floping because he was not, he shot close to as many FT as Gasol did and noone didn't even mention it because he just played the game and got fouled a lot.
Lakers won 3 out of 4 games (4th is the g6 blowout) from free throw line, and that in the end is not the way anyone should win a championship.

You say that you re a player, then you know the feeling when opponent drive to the rim a lot and gets foul called everytime, and when you do the same you don't get the same kind of call, what do you do? After few turnovers you settle for mid to long range jumpers while your opponent has you in penalty and continues to get easy free points.
Its more than just a number of free throws, its the impact it brings to the game.

Anyone who thinks Lakers won without refs didn't watch the game.  The fact that the Lakers shot what 37 FTAs to our 17 FTAs didn't help us.   It showed Dirty David Stern may have had his hand in it.  They got 14 points from the field in the fourth and we got 12.  The big difference came from the 16 Free throw points for the lakers.  I think they had 20 FTAs in the fourth so it was rigged to me.   They had help.

I won't lie. I think David Stern is a crooked commissioner.  You may think I am conspiracy nut, I don't care I think the guys who think LA won square are either Laker fans or didn't watch the game closely.

Pretty good breakdown of the 4th quarter in the attached video.

Yes the style of officiating changed and ticky tack fouls got called - i too am p---ed about that still.

However, the Celtics were also gassed - particularly Pierce, Sheed, KG and Ray. Watch these high and low lights...

Oh man...digging through those clips was brutal.... on one hand I can't wait to get next season started and get the 2011 title.

On the other hand, the burn of this loss still lingers, and the Celtics have to have more depth first.
