First, lets get it out of the way, yes, this is my first post, but i am a long time reader of the site and I am a life long Celtics fan born and raised in Boston. I cannot handle reading another ridiculous post about how we should trade Rondo, KG, or our whole bench in order to secure a player like Iggy in Philly, Gerald Wallace in Charlotte, or lord help us, Chris " I get my career advice from Lebron" Paul. OUR TEAM MADE IT TO THE FINALS AND LOST BY FOUR POINTS.
It is not anywhere near the time to panic, nor the time to blow this thing up. If we had seen this team struggle in the playoff then yes, all of this talk of blowing it up or fearing that other teams have gotten better while we have been basically idel would have been justified. However, the members of this team preached to us and to Doc the idea of "Wait until the playoffs. It is the only thing that matters." Guess what people? They were not lying and they proved it by reaching the finals and loosing in a close game seven where they didn't get a single break in the second half. Other teams needed to get better because they lost. The Lakers won, but dont you all believe things would have turned out differently if Perk didn't go down in Game 6? I sure do. Also, Jermaine O'Neal, though often injured, REBOUNDS THE BASKETBALL. Isn't  that what cost us the championship?
I believe in Danny because why wouldn't I? The guy has been great since he took over, made smart moves, and has put the team back on the map. If he thinks this team can win again, I believe him. Lets get excited for another season where we once again prove all the critics wrong.

I do agree that the JO signing is one of the better and mostly unheralded signings in FA. JO is a quality big and we got him for reasonable money.

I'd feel a lot better if Perk didn't have such a bad injury to come back from and we re-signed TA, but overall I expect KG to come back closer to his healthy self and that will be a huge boost to the team.

plus, I don't believe Danny is done shoring up the bench.....all in all, I have been very pleased with this off season.

Did somebody actually propose Rondo and KG for Chris Paul?  I thought I was having a nightmare.

Welcome to the board hooligan.

Live and let live, bruh.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.
