This guy is why I am such a HUGE celtic fan. This team is a TEAM. They know they are the best team, they know that even though everyone can write them off, they are still the defending eastern conference  >:( champs (SHOULD BE NBA!) but he will emerge as one of the best, if not the best PG next year.

He did play well. How many PGs can they bring though? Billups is a lock and I think they have to bring Rose. His shooting is a real liability in the international game.

Rondo's game is not suited for FIBA game.

I'm watching the replay and it's only the start of the 4th quarter. Rondo hasn't impressed me yet, but I think he will be more important when the team is focusing on defense.

Rondo is really loud though. He can really lead the defense. Can hear him pretty loud.

Yea he was playing at a really fast pace tonight it seemed like his teammates couldnt keep up at time, werent expecting his quick passes under the net and they couldnt finish.

He is a defensive beast tho and any PG that has to cover him in a game is in for trouble even rose said it...He's hard to play defense against.

Put rondo on the team with Durant...omg that kid is such a beast he could be the next KG and even be much better than KG..

Rondo needs people around him that know what they are doing... personally I think blue just had the weaker squad.
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

If Rondo to Durant ends up sick, as in great chemistry, maybe Durant will come to Boston one day.  I'd like that.

Of course, I think Durant's going to be an Ok. City lifer and get a couple of titles....

Yeah, I think I would go with a shooter like Steph Curry ahead of Rondo in this environment.

Not sure I'd bring Billups ... but, yeah, I agree he's a lock.

Derrick Rose is a near guarantee too. It's very hard to see Team USA passing on him.

There is what three other point guards? Westbrook, Rondo and Curry? I think they'll choose one of them. Three point guards. I'd say they take Rondo. Westbrook's size gives them more options for small backcourts though. Westbrook would be more useful here but like I said I think they take Rondo.

My choices would be Curry as my starter and D.Rose and Westbrook as my reserves but I think they go with Billups, Rose and Rondo instead.

If you're taking Billups and Rose I'd definitely take westbrook. Just for defensive match ups....

I only saw parts of the game, but I didn't like Billups at all. Not that he was alone in his poor play, just surprising.
