Um, did anybody see Jermaine O'Neal in the bench "scrum" in Round 1 this year?  You're telling me Jermaine isn't a warrior?  The dude's a thug.  I hated him after that fight (until he signed with us).
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Powe, Posey and PJ were warriors.  Nate competes.  JO is the opposite of a warrior.  He has always seemed like a fake tough guy to me.  He's got a big, strong body but he's mentally soft.

He played hard for Toronto and Miami.

We can't say the same for Sheed, who blew off his last year with Detroit once they were out of it, and to be charitable, had 15 good games (out of 100) for Boston this year. He was not great in the playoffs. He was merely good. Sometimes.

On that note, the revisionist history on Sheed is becoming amusing. Overall - he sucked this year. Glad to be rid of him.

Celtics would be Charmin Soft compared to Laker current roster. Most specifically the role players. I'd be worried too if I was Pierce. Here's to all the fallen Warriors.

07/08 (Gone)
James Posey
P.J. Brown

08/09 (Gone)
Leon Powe

09/10 (Gone)
Eddie House
Tony Allen
Rasheed Wallace
Shelden Williams*
Bill Walker**

Replaced by: Jermaine O'neal, Nate Robinson, Marquis Daniels.

**Tough/Gritty Rookie

Sheldon is a warrior? Walker tough and gritty?

Posey wanted to rip us off (seriously, look at his numbers since he left). PJ retired. Leon Powe had a significant injury. Can't reasonably expect them back on the team under those circumstances.

As for this offseason, I think you are off on Sheldon, as he was an absolute dud in the Finals. Walker can put up decent numbers on a bad team, but he was never gonna get the burn here. TA is no skin off my back. He did one thing well (but probably overrated). 'Sheed may still come back, but if not, you can't blame Ainge for a guy not having the desire to play anymore. I think losing Eddie was bigger loss than we have made of it.

J.O. is a warrior. If there is a scrum Jermaine will find his way into the middle of it.

Nate Rob will drain a shot in your face and flex at you until you cry.

And i don’t know about Marquis because he looks asleep most of the time. But when he’s on, i like everything he brings.
